Who’s looking for a family friendly destination to enjoy some much needed away time? Well I have the perfect place for you near Dallas, Tx that will sure to be a hit…the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco! I can’t recommend it enough you guys!! I’ve had several questions about it so I just wanted to go over a few things with you guys & let you know that I will share my discount code at the end of this post! So keep reading, you don’t wanna miss it!

Upon arrival we were greeted in the lobby with everyone’s favorite….free ice cream with alllll the toppings! My kids were in Heaven from this moment forward! So initially when we checked in we went to the room to freshen up a little bit! We had been running around all day shopping, having lunch etc so we were ready to get settled. Not to mention we had spent the day before that at Six Flags and so we were already to just get ready for a super fun relaxing weekend at the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco.

Around 5:45 we headed down to check in for a reservation at the Top Golf Swing Suite! It was so incredibly fun! I’m talking fun for the entire family! It is a simulation screen that you can play lots of different games on golfing, zombie dodgeball, football throwing, circus type games, etc! Our competitive family had a blast doing this and let me reiterate that is is FUN for everyone! They do have a menu that you can place a food order and enjoy food & beverages while you wait! The Top Golf Swing Suite was super fun, my kids absolutely loved it and it really wore them out so the bedtime routine was a breeze this night! You can book directly here!

After that we actually went to one of the restaurants on the property restaurant on the property. They have 3 different restaurants, Beans & Barrel, Herd & Hearth, and Ranch Water were you can grab food, or sit down to eat. I love staying at places where you can legit check in and never have to leave for all your entertainment/eating needs! It makes traveling with kids so much easier when you aren’t having to load and unload everyone to go and do all the things! The restaurants are so cute and they also have a patio area where you can order your food and sit on the patio and see ta beautiful view of the property, pool etc! We had some dinner there it was really good and we enjoyed a mama + daddy drink! I had a spicy cucumber margarita and it was delicious!

After dinner we headed out outside to enjoy some of the night life! The first night they had some hula dancers and fire dancers which my kids loved! It was fun watching that and seeing the excitement in their eyes! A full day was had and by this time we were ready for bed so we headed up to get some sleep for an early day at the pool!
We were able to take advantage of a cabana rental that they provided for us the next day which was absolutely incredible! I highly suggest anywhere you travel if you can make it work to get a cabana! It made life so much easier we were able to let Waiks nap in the shade, there was a fan and a TV for my husband to watch golf while the kids played in the water! They also served us watermelon and chips and salsa in the cabana which was so good! If y’all are like us food + swimming go hand & hand! You can also get day passes by renting a cabana so even if you aren’t staying there you can take advantage of their pool, slide, splash pad, games etc!
The servers at the pool make sure to come around and get drink orders several times during your time there! They also have a server window you can walk up to if for some reason you miss your server! I really love that the pool has a lot of kid friendly swimming areas that are not super super deep! They also have a coleman inflatable hot tub that the kids were allowed to get in which they absolutely love! Anytime if there is a hot tub you will find Sway in it!! He does not love being cold so sometimes pool water is a little too chilly for him so he spent the majority of his time swimming in the pool! They had a DJ pool party the majority of the day so he played music, they played some games like limbo & musical chairs! They also have a water slide on sight that the kids + adults can go down! I went with Sway a few times before he was brave enough to go by himself! 😉
